Our Developer client is looking for an experienced wood frame superintendent.
Client: Vancouver based client dealing in Residential high rise and wood frame projects needs a wood frame Superintendent.
Opportunity: Reporting to the VP of Construction and General Superintendent the Site Superintendent will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Providing to be a professional representative of the company’s core values and exhibiting these values daily.
- Creating and implementing strategies to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Ensuring all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to by all team members.
- Collaborating with the Project Manager and project delivery team to ensure project timelines and milestones are met.
- Reviewing project documents and contracts to ensure all procedures and guidelines are followed by all team members.
- Interacting and collaborating with subtrades, vendors and engineers to ensure all parties are on the same page.
- Providing to be a key mentor and coach to the junior team members and creating action plans to improve and develop their skills and abilities.
- Providing excellent customer service and creating new relationships7
- Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of construction experience as a Site Superintendent.
- Ideally one wood frame project completed start to finish
- Degree in Construction Management, Engineering or related certifications.
- Gold Seal certification a strong asset.
- Proven experience managing projects $30 million and above.
- Proven experience managing projects from beginning to end.
- Strong operational knowledge of construction planning software’s.
- Able to manage, schedule and coach large teams, subtrades and engineers.
