Compensation: 125K-150K
A boutique environmental consulting firm in Oakville is seeking a
Senior Environmental Consultant / Project Leader to join its team. This role involves overseeing
environmental, geotechnical, and hydrogeological site assessments, with project values ranging from tens of thousands to over $1 million.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead multi-disciplinary projects, managing teams, tasks, and on-site resources.
- Oversee client relationships, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
- Develop scopes of work, proposals, and reports.
- Mentor and support junior and technical field staff.
- Stay up to date with industry regulations and best practices.
- Contribute to business development and industry recognition through presentations and conferences.
Qualifications & Skills: ✔
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental or Geotechnical Engineering (P.Eng. or P.Geo. is an asset).
✔
8+ years of experience in environmental consulting.
✔ Strong knowledge of
Ontario regulations and standards.
✔ Experience with
geotechnical and hydrogeological investigations.
✔ Hands-on experience with
Phase I & II ESAs (O.Reg. 153/04) and Excess Soil Management (O.Reg. 406/19).
✔ Excellent
communication, problem-solving, and client service skills.
✔
Valid driver’s license.
