Job Title: Manager, Quebec Operations Location: Brossard, Quebec
Skyline Recruitment is currently partnering with a dynamic company to find a highly motivated and experienced Manager to oversee their Quebec Operations in Brossard. In this leadership role, you will be responsible for managing all operational activities in the Quebec region, focusing on projects related to hazardous materials, environmental management, and occupational health and safety.
As a key member of the Senior Management team, the successful candidate will report directly to the President & CEO and will play an integral role in the strategic direction and operational success of the business in Quebec.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead new business development initiatives, identifying growth opportunities, and managing long-term client relationships.
- Oversee project reporting, ensuring technical competency in fieldwork and the successful execution of projects.
- Collaborate with the management team on strategic planning, contributing to the development of divisional budgets.
- Manage operational teams, including staffing, training, and performance management to maintain high standards.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, human resources, and environmental regulations.
- Monitor and report on operational performance to the President & CEO, providing key updates on project progress and team performance.
Qualifications: - Minimum of 5 years of operational management experience, ideally in a project-based environment.
- Extensive experience in environmental projects, including Asbestos/Lead/Mould Remediation, Subsurface Soil Investigations (Phase 1 / Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessments), and Industrial Hygiene.
- A degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership abilities with a track record of successfully managing and mentoring teams.
- An ASP card (or the ability to obtain one) is required for this position.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
